What if there is wrong information on Turkish e-Visa?
If you realize that you have incorrect information on your Turkish e-Visa, you should address it promptly, as errors on your e-Visa can lead to denied entry upon arrival in Turkey. The Turkish e-Visa system does not allow for corrections on an already issued e-Visa. Instead, you’ll need to reapply for a new e-Visa with the correct information to avoid issues at immigration checkpoint.
Here’s what you should do:
- Verify All Details Carefully: Double-check the e-Visa for accuracy as soon as you receive it. Ensure details such as your name, passport number, nationality, and travel dates align precisely with your passport and intended travel itinerary.
- Reapply with Correct Information: If you spot an error, you must submit a new application. Correct the incorrect information in the new application and pay the applicable fee again.
- Check Your Email for Updates: Once you reapply, monitor your email for the new e-Visa approval. Turkish e-Visas are often processed within minutes to a few hours, so reapplying generally won’t cause major delays.
- Print the Corrected e-Visa: After receiving the new, accurate e-Visa, print a copy to present at Turkish immigration, along with your passport.
If you apply Turkey e-Visa through Turkey Immigration Services, you can request to recorrect your information within 90 minutes. We will correct it for you. In case you want to cancel the processing, the service fee will be refunded.
