Do I need a visa for Turkey from Sierra Leone?

Yes, Sierra Leoneans, like many other citizens, require a visa to enter Turkey. The Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs implemented an electronic visa system to speed up the visa application process and reduce the waiting list of applications at embassies and consulates. As a result, citizens of more than 40 countries, including Sierra Leone, can now apply for a Turkish eVisa for travel or business. For Sierra Leoneans traveling to Turkey for work or study, visas must be obtained through Turkish embassies or consulates. 

Sierra Leone passport holders now have access to an e-visa, making travel to Turkey considerably easier. The Turkey Immigration Services website streamlines the process of getting a Turkey eVisa. It comprises submitting the appropriate papers, paying the visa fee online, completing an online application, and receiving the eVisa through email in around 03 business days.
